So ever since my makeover at the Clinique counter last Saturday, I have been using the Clarifying Lotion #2 in the morning and at night. I bought this b/c it FELT WONDERFUL when the MA swept it over my face! It seemed like a good product as I already like my cleansers and my moisturizer, but don't use a toner or anything. I also liked the idea of exfoiliating the dead surface skin cells, which this claims to do..... However, I'm wondering if this is too harsh? It IS mostly alcohol! I think that my pores have been EVEN BIGGER and MORE NOTICEABLE all this week! I dont use a moisturizer at night (gasp! is this bad!?) b/c my skin is never dry feeling.... I use the clinique stuff and then go to sleep. I have heard that if you use too much alc. on your skin, it dries it out, causing it to produce more oil, leading to breakout... bad cycle! Is this true!? Do you think I should stop using this product!? OR do I just need to moisturize after!? (I do use my Almay Oil-free/Oil-control moisturizer in the morning after the CLinique and before the makeup). I am interested in the Moisture In Control Clinique moisturizer as well as the City Block Oil-free sunscreen for face.... do you think these would be good products? I normally wash my face with The Body Shop's Tea Tree Oil soap, b/c this keeps my skin in control and basically new-blemish-free. Sometimes I use Oil of Olay Oil-free Foaming Cleanser and/or Almay oil-free/oil-control foaming gel cleanser. Once in a while I use clean and clear oil-free exfoiliating cleanser. I am slightly confused about a good skin care regimine. Should I be removing makeup, washing face, toning, moisturizing in morning and night? When is the best time to apply a sunscreen? Or should my moisturizer contain sunscreen!? I worry about breakouts b/c my skin used to be VERY PRONE to them, although now I get them rarely. My skin seems to be oily in the T-Zone mainly, and not really dry anywhere. The clinique woman said I was a type 2-3 with combo skin. I am 26 and NEVER go out in the sun, do not drink alc. or smoke. I have some old reddish acne dots (scars) on my cheeks and thats it. I need some help! Oh, also when I go to return the Clinique Stay True oilfree foundation in Stay Light (which I am HATING) should I exchange it for any of the above-mentioned products? Also, I LOVE HAPPY so maybe I ccould exchange it for some of that!? I was going to exchange it for the STAY IVORY shade, but now I think I'll just skip it all! I'll go back to my old foundation REVLON PRO in the lighest shade, which, I guess I was basically happy with. Do you think they will 'prefer' that I return it for $ back, or for replacement product? (And, if a replacement product, would they 'prefer' if I am exchanging it for the diff. shade of the same product?!) Thank you! Sorry to be a pain! Do I seem to be posting a lot!? PS I'm going to a specail Bobbie Brown makeover tomorrow morning! WILL POST ON THAT!

Perhaps will get a good foundation and/or concealer!??!? -Amy (to Eric 4/8/00) Our deepest fears are like dragons guarding our deepest treasures. - Rilke Please remove NOSPAM from email address to email. Thank you.
